Family Therapist for Adolescent Treatment Center Tuesday to Saturday 65k to 80k

The Hire Mark is recruiting Family Therapists for an Adolescent Treatment Center in Tarzana for Teens ages 12-19 years of age.
Responsibilities: o Facilitate comprehensive assessment and evaluation for assigned families o Coordinate treatment objectives for assigned families o Provide group treatment, parent support groups, parenting education classes as assigned.
o Initiate discharge planning for assigned clients and updated discharge plan weekly o Provide family/conjoint therapy as specified in client’s treatment plans o Provide case management services which may include interfacing with community psychiatric hospitals, Department of Family and Children Services (DCFS), Department of Mental Health (DMH), school officials, and law enforcement and others as appropriate.
o Facilitate ancillary services/community referrals when appropriate o Ensure progress notes for assigned case load are comprehensive and complete to meet licensing standards and meet all paperwork deadlines o Participate in in-services trainings, individual/group supervision meetings, and any mandatory staff community meetings o Assist Primary Therapist and Program Director with crisis intervention when necessary Minimum Requirements • Masters degree of higher in Psychology or related field • Licensed Mental Health Professional (Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker or Psychologist) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
