*_ _*Fluency in Spanish is REQUIRED*_ Job Title: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist- LMFT - FSP- At-Risk Youth Type: Full Time, Benefits available Location: South or East Los Angeles, CA Social Service Professionals, "the professional's choice" for careers in Social Work and Therapy, has a need for multiple Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs) to provide FSP counseling to at-risk youth and teens in Los Angeles, CA.
Choose from working in South or East Los Angeles.
The clinicians will provide community- based therapy to their clients in a variety of environments, such as: schools, homes, and community centers.
These are full-time position, with benefits available.

Examples of Essential Duties: Evaluate patients’ psycho-social needs; Evaluate patients' family/social situation to support a treatment plan; Participate in on-going counseling; Utilize community resources to assist patients' psycho-social needs; Document history, care plans and prepare reports as needed.
Education Requirement: Graduation from an accredited university or college with a Master Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling.
Qualifications: Current California License as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); Current AHA-approved CPR card Recruiting Guidelines: Skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, logic and reasoning, judgment, time management techniques and data entry; Ability to make improvements or take corrective action; Observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources; Organize, plan, and prioritize work; Communicate with people outside the organization; Represent the organization to patients, clients and the public; Deal calmly and effectively in high stress situations; Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintain them over time; Work within a team as well as independently; Speak, read, and write effectively as appropriate for the needs of the audience while demonstrating the proper use of grammar.
