The staff RN is a professional caregiver who provides patient care and assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients via the nursing process.
Under direct supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Nurse Specialist Supervisor, the incumbent will direct nursing care of patients by means of the nursing process, leadership development and application, management, concept communication, teaching staff and patients, and maintenance of professional standards.
Qualifications
We’re seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with: Current valid California RN license, required BSN or MSN, required 6 months of operating room experience as an RN, required 2 years of operating room experience as an RN, preferred BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire Salary Range: $56.
