Senior Finance Systems Analyst (Order to Cash) The Finance Systems team builds the technical architecture, automation and features which are integral to the success of Fastly's finance and accounting functions.
We are looking for a Senior Finance Systems Analyst who has deep understanding of usage-based billing and revenue systems, is passionate about crafting high quality technical solutions and who thrives when collaborating with a team that solves constantly evolving business needs.
This role will have the opportunity to partner with a wide range of teams to make a clear and direct impact on the performance of Fastly's financial operations.
You will have the opportunity to craft high quality technical solutions in multiple integrated SaaS tools, collaborate across a wide range of teams and make a significant impact on the success of high-visibility company initiatives.
This role will be supported by Manager, Finance Systems.
What You'll Do: Function as the technical lead for billing systems eventually becoming a subject matter expert on Fastly's usage/consumption-based billing processes Contribute billing systems expertise to collaborate on the high-impact, cross-functional initiative to complete a full lifecycle implementation of Logisense as our new usage ratings system Partner with colleagues to develop and migrate all billing functionality from a legacy system to NetSuite Support the technical configuration, development, integration and maintenance of systems related to billing including NetSuite, Aria, Logisense, Stripe, Avalara and Tesorio Communicate and collaborate with internal partners and technical resources to develop scalable solutions, implement feature improvements and address integration errors to maintain the smooth functioning of business processes Maintain reliable change management practices and documentation for SOX compliance Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and features with minimal guidance Provide administrative support for our finance systems to support smooth business operations What We're Looking For: 5+ years hands-on experience driving technical configuration, automation and process optimization in finance systems 2+ years providing technical support for usage/consumption based billing, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, payment processing, and cash application systems Experience with one or more of the following systems: NetSuite, Aria, Logisense, Stripe, Avalara, Workato, and Tesorio In-depth knowledge of order-to-cash processes at an enterprise scale including order management, billing, revenue recognition and collections The ability to adeptly communicate with non-technical partners in a manner that is clear and relevant for them Strong analytical skills, high level attention to detail and an intuitive understanding of business systems We'll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these: Strong familiarity with Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ processes Accounting background working in billing or accounts receivable Experience with integration platforms like Workato, Celigo, and Boomi Experience with SuiteScript, Javascript, JSON, SQL, HTML, CSS Work Hours: This position will require you to be available during core business hours Work Location(s) & Travel Requirements: This position is open to the following preferred office locations: San Francisco, California Los Angeles, California Denver, Colorado Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $119,880 to $166,500.
Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly's equity and discretionary bonus programs.
