What you'll be responsible for: We are looking for a forward thinking, performance orientated, and culture-driven HR Organizational Effectiveness Leader for our Talent team to ensure our motivated and highly talented people continue to develop and be successful as we accelerate our growth.
The Organizational Effectiveness Leader will be responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation of Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness interventions such as driving performance management systems, job evaluations, organizational structure design, development plans (in partnership with Talent Development), critical talent planning, career and succession planning, and competency management.
You will be a strategic partner to the HR Business Partner team and Talent Development team, supporting a people-forward and data driven approach for succession planning, performance management, and career development as our organizations scale.
You will lead a small team, focused on employee relations, HR programs, and global mobility needs, and create the strategies on how the HR Business Partner team navigates employee relations issues, builds creative ways to motivate and retain the top talent that we have attracted and developed, and lead organizational effectiveness as we scale.
What you'll work on: Mentor and partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) on strategic and operational execution activities including employee relations issues, team effectiveness, change management, organizational design, performance management, retention, engagement, talent planning, professional growth and more.
Design & implement a refreshed Performance Management Plan across all levels of the organization.
Create an end-to-end Employee Relations Framework, with clear guidelines and frameworks for the organization.
Act as Lead Investigator on all Employee Relations matters.
Design the process, create a system for capturing and tracking all issues, and build reporting capabilities for high-level metrics to be shared with our Executive Leadership Team.
Partner with Global HRBPs to design and implement career development and performance management programs strategies, processes, and tools.
Partner with Talent Development to create and maintain high-potential career development programs, including building procedures, tools, and guidelines/framework.
Contribute to the development and implementation of an organization-wide career path.
Establish key metrics to accurately define the competencies and skills required for each role/department within the organization.
Understand the functional structures within the organization to create synergies across the functions and teams.
Design the job evaluation methodology for the organization & maintain a repository of the same.
Ensure the development and implementation of core competencies and key performance measures into the performance appraisal system.
Analyze and report on measurement results.
Provide ongoing support to ensure that performance management systems are effectively being used to manage operations work processes and individual performances.
Support HRBPs by identifying and addressing organizational and people issues, think through how the teams remove barriers, increase engagement and effectiveness across teams.
Partner with global and functional business counterparts to drive clear communication and people processes planning.
Create assessment frameworks (such as goals, feedback, etc) as they relate to performance management by working closely with appropriate stakeholders.
Develop and execute a plan that enables our key stakeholders to utilize data outcomes from performance management for their operational and strategic decision-making.

What you'll bring to Circle: 12+ years of human resources experience including business partnering, talent management, organizational development, organizational effectiveness, and learning & development will be required.
5+ years of experience managing high performing teams.
Prior experience in rapidly scaling a fintech or tech company will be given preference.
Proven experience developing trusted relationships at all levels of an organization including senior level talent to drive talent programs.
Proven experience designing talent management programs (succession planning, organizational design, performance management, organizational effectiveness) International experience is also ideal given the diversity & cultures of the regions we operate in and will be given preference.
Comfort and experience with ambiguity.
Excellent decision making skills and a sense of urgency.
You're able to juggle competing priorities with a focus on timely execution and follow through.
Strong business acumen coupled with emotional intelligence: you understand the key drivers and dynamics of a high growth technology business.
Level-headed leadership under pressure along with creative problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in G-Suite, Slack and MacBook preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred.

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.
Base Pay Range: $190,000 - $242,500 Annual Bonus Target: 20% Also Included: Equity & Benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
Circle has a discretionary vacation policy.
We also provide 10 days of paid sick leave per year and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.
S.
