The Student Affairs Administrative Coordinator will be the first point of contact for the Student Affairs Department.
In addition, this position administratively supports other Student Life departments including, but not limited to, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and Admissions.
*Responsibilities:*
The Student Affairs Administrative Coordinator's primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
* Greet office visitors in a courteous and professional manner and notify staff of visitor/guest arrivals; provide general information to visitors being conscious of privacy and confidentiality issues in a public space.
* Respond to phone calls and general emails in a prompt and courteous manner and forward to the appropriate individuals.
* Maintain an organized lobby/reception area with updated versions of printed reference materials at the front desk, such as scholarship information.
In addition, ensure online materials are updated correctly.
* Create and/or maintain various student files for Student Life departments (Student Affairs, Student Accounts, Financial Aid, etc.
) as needed.
* Schedule student appointments with Student Affairs staff when requested/needed.
* Maintain stocking of communal office supplies.
* Check staff mailboxes and distribute mail appropriately.
* Compile and distribute meeting minutes for Student Affairs meetings.
* Liaison with campus departments, such as Facilities and IT, to support Student Affairs needs.
* Work with other staff members of Student Affairs to plan, host, and regularly review initiatives including Student Orientation & Move-In and Welcome Weeks.
* Assist with training student staff/leaders within Student Affairs, as needed, and determined by the Director of Student Affairs.
* Serve on department and college committees and task forces, as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned or necessary.

*Minimum Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
* Minimum of 1 – 2 years of office experience in a diversified customer service-oriented office
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite preferred.
* Ability to handle multifaceted tasks
* Great attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to keep information in confidence as it relates to privacy and FERPA
* Strong planner and problem solver who readily adapts to change
* Works independently and exceeds expectations
* Able to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
