Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment and other medical imaging modalities such as ER, Mammography, PET scan, Sonography, and Medical imaging.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Ensure patient safety by following aseptic techniques and maintaining a clean and sterile environment.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions or issues.
- Review and evaluate images to ensure quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques and provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize radiation exposure.
Skills:
- Proficient in performing X-ray procedures with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with various medical imaging modalities such as ER, Mammography, PET scan, Sonography, and Medical imaging.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment effectively.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate image acquisition and interpretation.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other team members.
