Some of what you'll do
Process accounts payable invoices and verify accuracy of vendor bills.
Prepare and process weekly payment batches and ensure timely payment of bills.
Reconcile vendor statements and investigate any discrepancies.
Manage the accounts payable inbox and respond to vendor inquiries.
Review and reconcile accounts payable accounts and prepare month-end accruals.
Assist with month-end close procedures, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Assist with other accounting duties as needed.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree in accounting
2+ years work experience (of any kind - fast food, office, grocery store, home depot, whatever)
Part-time, internship or some hands-on accounting experience would be awesome
We are seeking someone who is intelligent, self-motivated, and well-organized
$30 - $32 Per Hour + Bonus
