Overview The MOCEAN Supervising Producer supports clients and internal partners to ensure successful execution of physical production for a wide range of productions from small tabletop product still shoots to multi-location, multi-day brand campaigns.
This role is a leader in the department with a focus on facilitating the creative vision of the director/ creative director while staying within the parameters of the clients’ resources to ensure exceptional creative with efficient execution.
Primary Responsibilities Overall: Builds strong, trusting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders across multiple departments.
Oversees concurrent projects with multiple work streams Represents a mastery of craft within the industry and has a proven ability to manage teams of producers and crews across all production disciplines Able to speak knowledgeably about all aspects of production from development and prep to on set protocols and post production Knowledge of union and guild guidelines from talent (SAG) to crew (IATSE, DGA) Has a deep understanding of competitive bidding best practices, ensuring all work is produced with creative & client needs met.
Lends industry expertise and advises producers on selection and negotiation of all outside vendor contracts based on both scope/budget/timeline of project and which vendor is best suited for the project.
Talent & Community: Accountable to play a leadership role in contributing to the culture of the Production Department as well as initiating opportunities to educate and inspire both the teams and collaborating departments Responsible for leading our efforts in cultivating a diverse, equal and inclusive culture of production within our work.
Responsibilities include leading the agency’s partnership and commitment to Free the Work and other diversity initiatives and more.
Responsible for building critical relationships and maintaining the agency’s reputation and standard of excellence with the industry as well as keeping an active knowledge of freelance producer talent and cross-discipline external partners Innovation: Stays on top of industry trends, craft-makers, techniques, directors, photographers, and new technologies and utilizes expertise and passion for production to inspire and educate the Department and Agency overall in an effort to elevate the creative product Looks to future-proof the production department by bringing innovative production capabilities, technology, and tools to build multidisciplinary solutions to a variety of briefs Drives innovation to build production learnings that can solidify the Client's presence as an industry leader in the creative production and content space Aptitudes Approaches each assignment with curiosity, open-mindedness and forward-thinking Works to pursue the of best creative ideas and creates an environment supportive of the best creative Works seamlessly across agency functions and with client partners Collaborative team member who effectively communicates, informs and involves others to achieve shared objective Consistently delivers projects and commitments on deadline and on budget Thinks through problems by quickly narrowing in on core issues and identifying innovative and effective solutions Qualifications BA/BS degree strongly preferred 10+ years in production at a creative agency, production company or similar environment Effective negotiation and positive-minded problem-solving skills required Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment A demonstrated track record of building trust by consistently demonstrating sound critical-thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees Highly organized with a keen sense of attention to detail Exceptional initiative and follow-through skills After-hours work and overnight traveling on productions may be required Compensation + Benefits Salary range: $130,000.

00 The actual pay rate offered will depend on a variety of factors, including applicant’s qualifications, years of relevant experience and geographic location.
Total compensation package will also include other elements, including paid time off, subsidized health insurance (medical, dental, vision) and 401(k) participation plus company match.
