The Veterinary Support Staff Recruiter role will find creative ways to find, attract and sign i) Veterinary Technicians, ii) Assistants and iii) Concierge candidates in a challenging recruiting environment.

As a recruiter, you will play a fundamental role as an ambassador of our brand and be responsible for staffing our hospitals with the talent to deliver on our mission of providing the best urgent care experience to the communities we serve.
This role requires a sense of urgency and a relentless pursuit to sign top talent.
What you’ll do:
Proactively and creatively research, identify and contact targeted candidates
Work with other Talent Acquisition team members to capture all viable leads
Serve as the primary contact for each candidate, setting expectations and ensuring an exemplary experience
Champion our approach to urgent care and how we are uniquely positioned within the existing veterinary landscape
Describe the VCA Urgent Care Associate experience in great detail outlining relevant operational elements including staffing, scheduling and case flow
Work with field and hospital leadership so candidates can identify and visit locations of interest
Attend and support recruiting events
Present offers, negotiate terms and sign candidates
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years recruiting experience (veterinary and healthcare settings preferred)
Proactive, creative, self-starter
Warm, positive, enthusiastic
Prompt follow up in all communications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time at certain times during the year

Additional Information:
Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $66,000-$100,000.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
