*Purpose of the Position:* The purpose of the position is to provide therapy/DIS counseling for students, providing interdisciplinary treatment planning.

AMFT/APCC/ACSW : $42 - $52/Hr
LMFT/LPCC/LCSW: $51 - $58/Hr

*Position Responsibilities and Duties:*
* Provide DIS counseling services
* IEP development and documentation
* Provide direct, individual, or small group instruction to identified pupils per the Individual Education Plan (IEP)
* Participate in the multidisciplinary team process to include eligibility issues, IEP development, consultation services, and service delivery models.
* Participate in the development, monitoring, and the implementation of IEPs for students who qualify for psych services
* Prepare written evaluations and maintain records which document services provided, student progress and discharge from therapy
* Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

*Minimum Skills or Qualifications:*
* Requires a Master’s degree in Counseling and/or related field (i.
e.
Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family therapy, School Counseling, etc.
) with training and 2 – 5 years of experience working with students with learning and or social/emotional needs.
* Registered and active license as an LMFT, AMFT, LPCC, APCC, LCSW, ASW with the Board of Behavioral Sciences and/or PPS (Pupil personal services) credential if a School Counselor or School Psychologist.
* Experience working in a school or treatment setting for students with learning or social/emotional problems a plus.
* DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance
* Pro-Act, CPI, and/or CPR certification helpful
*Work Environment and Physical Demands:*
* Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes
* Requires frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50 or more lbs.
* Must be able to see and hear within normal range with or without correction.
