Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)- Psychiatric Health Facility

is seeking per-diem *Licensed Vocational Nurses* for our *Psychiatric Health Facility* located in *Culver City, CA* to provide individualized and integrated services focusing on prevention and health promotion of physical and mental wellness.
*Shifts:* * Day Shifts * Night Shifts *Job Summary:* The LVN under the direction of the Program Director, is to assist in the oversite of all clinical and administrative activities for the Exodus Recovery Urgent Care Centers including development, implementation and compliance with established standards of care in accordance with all federal, state and local statutes.
This LVN is responsible for providing direct and indirect services in a manner consistent with Rehabilitation and Recovery principles.
Performs comprehensive screening and assessment (if within scope of practice) services to clients as well as providing education, crisis intervention, and medication services in collaboration with Exodus providers.
The LVN also performs activities that may be carried out only by professional nursing personnel.
*Requirements:* * Valid CA LVN license * Minimum two (2) years clinical practice in psychiatric care with strong emphasis on working with severely mentally ill and dually diagnosed clients preferred.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology and experience in evaluation, direct client service and community linkage.
* Ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team, and show mature judgment.
* Ability to collaborate with staff from other disciplines and with community agencies.
* Current CPR Certification required Job Types: Per diem, Full-time Pay: $33.
