The Role: JCDecaux is currently seeking a Project Manager who will report to EVP, West Region and will be responsible for leading a variety of projects as needed for vending kiosks program, community art program, installation of street furniture, digital devices, and more.
This is a full-time position based in our Los Angeles office and will operate in a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as a liaison with diverse city staff in a variety of city departments.
Serve as a liaison for several community groups, activists, and civic leaders.
Keep up to date with local politics and development with urban planning, infrastructure, transit projects with a focus on equity and sustainability goals.
Understand municipal trends regarding to policies, election seasons, evolution of local civic and political movements.
Maintain an understanding of the services the Company offers to the communities it serves.
Manage, create, and curate content for all social media channels (Twitter, Instagram, etc) Work with several vendors for services and suppliers.
Ability to take on special projects as needed.
This includes, but not limited to, creating documents and memos, supporting RFP projects, and creating reports.
Assist with drafting, editing, reviewing variety of documents.
Cover projects pertaining to cities (Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Vancouver).
All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications & Requirements: Ability to positively interact, understand, and build partnerships with diverse entities.
Must be able to work on projects both individually and with a team.
Fluent in Spanish is required.
Must have a willingness to add value to department and organization projects and individual job accomplishments.
Ability to effectively interface with a diverse group of people within and outside of the organization.
Ability to be proactive and a team player.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
