Essential Functions:
Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate our commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care, and concern with patients.
Uses, protects, and discloses patients protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
Directs patient to proper treatment area and prepares patient for treatment and/or labs.
Assists in the transportation of patients and patient flow.
Obtains records and reports vital signs and any other pertinent patient information to the RN or clinician.
Administers medication, access IV, PICC, port for admin, and instructs patients on procedural preparations under the supervision of the clinician or RN.
Follow up with pharmacies of new prescriptions as ordered by the clinician.
Collects and labels tubes for blood draws.
Maintains and cleans treatment areas and medical equipment.
Maintains logs, records of medical procedures, and inventories of supplies.
Triages telephone calls and reports to MD.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Able to provide coverage at additional clinics, as needed.
Education:
High school education or equivalent
Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse program
Current LVN license
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross)

Experience:
1-2 years of experience (Preferred but not required)
Previous LPN/LVN work experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Computer literate
Manual dexterity to use/handle equipment and instruments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to concurrently perform multiple tasks
