Examples of Essential Duties: -Evaluate patients’ psycho-social needs; -Evaluate patients’ family/social situation to support a treatment plan; -Participate in on-going counseling; -Make recommendations to the healthcare team for appropriate psycho-social support; -Utilize community resources to assist patients’ psycho-social needs; -Document history, care plans and prepare reports as needed.
Education Requirements: -Graduation from an accredited university or college with a Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy or a related field Qualifications: -Current California licensure as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) -Current AHA-approved CPR card Recruiting Guidelines: -Skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, logic and reasoning, judgment, time management techniques and data entry; -Ability to make improvements or take corrective action; -Observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources; -Organize, plan, and prioritize work; -Communicate with people outside the organization; -Represent the organization to patients, clients and the public; -Deal calmly and effectively in high stress situations; -Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintain them over time; -Work within a team as well as independently; -Speak, read, and write effectively as appropriate for the needs of the audience while demonstrating the proper use of grammar.
