We are seeking experienced EHS Professionals to join our Supplemental Talent Community.
As an EHS Professional, you will be responsible for conducting office inspections, managing existing health and safety programs, and effectively handling incidents to ensure a safe and secure work environment for all employees.
Typical job assignments may include but are not limited to the following: Conduct regular and thorough inspections of office premises to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Develop and implement corrective measures based on inspection findings to mitigate risks and improve safety standards.
Manage and maintain existing health and safety programs, including but not limited to Emergency response procedures, training programs for employees on safety protocols, occupational health initiatives, safety equipment inventory and maintenance.
Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, accidents, or near-misses within the workplace.
Conduct thorough investigations to determine root causes and implement preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.
Maintain accurate incident records and prepare detailed reports for management review.
Stay updated on local, state, and federal health and safety regulations and ensure the organization's compliance.
Implement necessary changes in policies and procedures to align with evolving regulatory standards.
Develop and conduct training sessions or workshops to educate employees on safety procedures, best practices, and potential hazards specific to the office environment.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, Ergonomics, or related field.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience doing environmental, health & safety work, preferably within the high-tech industry.
Must have a deep understanding of OSHA regulations and their applicability.
Further understanding of NFPA, DOT, EPA, and/or international health & safety regulations is a plus.
Additional safety training such as OSHA 10 or 30‐hour for Construction or General Industry, 24‐hour or 40‐hour HAZWOPER is a plus.
ASP, CSP, CIH, or ARM certification or equivalent experience is a plus.
Must have strong skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (if applicable).
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.
Potential employees must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment background check, drug screening (as permitted by law), and baseline physical (safety-sensitive roles).
They must also have a valid driver's license and good driving record.

Operation of a motor vehicle.
Additionally, if you are assigned work in the field at client project sites you will need to complete a medical surveillance/fitness-for-duty examination and maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following.
Medium to heavy work.
Subject to outside environmental conditions: heat/cold, wind, wet and/or humid, etc.
Occasional stooping (bending body downward and forward), kneeling (bending legs at the knee), crouching (bending body downward and forward), and climbing.
Frequent lifting (including push/pull, hold/carry) of light, moderate, and possibly heavy-weight objects.
Subject to hazards, including a variety of physical conditions, including but not limited to: proximity to moving vehicles, parts, or equipment; exposure to chemicals; pressure (including noise); electrical hazards; biological hazards; excavation/trenching; confined spaces; elevated work; materials handling.
May be required to wear an air-purifying respirator.
COMPENSATION The hourly range for this position is $85.
