LVN per diem Hospice nurse

Absolute Hospice Agency, LLC.
is currently looking for *License Vocational Nurses* to join our ever expanding team of Healthcare Professionals in the field of Hospice! Under the direction of a *License Vocational Nurses*, the Hospice Licensed Vocational (LVN) will provide skilled nursing and palliative care for assigned hospice patients.
He/She will be cooperatively with the other members of the Interdisciplinary Hospice Team within the Hospice Agency.
The Hospice LVN provides intermittent visits or shifts of skilled nursing care, performs prescribed medical treatments, including pain management and symptom control, provides nursing observations, provides teaching regarding the expected course of the disease, care techniques and other health measures to the patient, family or other primary care giver, and participates in the care plan development and implementation.
*Qualifications*: - Education: Graduate of an accredited school of vocational/practical nursing.
- Credentials: Current license within the State.
Certification in Hospice and Palliative Vocational/Practical Nursing.
-CPR or BLS - Experience: Preferably at least one year experience as a LVN.
Prior hands on Hospice experience REQUIRED \* HOSPICE TRAINING PROVIDED - Core Competencies: Demonstrated competency in performance of skilled nursing functions.
Ability to work with terminally ill patients and their families.
Possesses a sympathetic attitude toward caring for the hospice patient and demonstrates positive communication skills in interacting with other members of the hospice team.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $45.
