The position entails leading projects focused on optimizing the supply chain network, analyzing model output, and making recommendations to decrease direct cost expenditures without compromising service to Aramark’s customer.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the efficient and accurate collection of information, optimizing the supply chain model, reviewing the resulting output, and collaborating with relevant teams to assess the operational feasibility based on the proposed modifications.
This position will be the primary technical expert in charge of supply chain optimization tools.
Expertise in these tools will be essential in providing insights and recommendations to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the supply chain network.
Additionally, this position involves working in close collaboration with several other teams within the organization, including Supply Chain Consultants to develop strategies, Finance to ensure financial alignment with the proposed changes, Route Optimization teams to evaluate transportation solutions, and Implementation Teams to implement the changes within the supply chain network effectively.
Effective teamwork and communication across these cross-functional teams are critical to ensuring the success.

Analysis: This position will be responsible for conducting assessments of the current supply chain processes, systems, and operations, with a particular focus on utilizing optimization tools to identify opportunities for improvement.
You will analyze vast amounts of supply chain data to gain insights into the areas where the supply chain can be optimized.
Data: Collect and manipulate input data, which can consist of hundreds of thousands or even millions of lines of information from various sources.
This involves retrieving and organizing the data, ensuring its accuracy, and manipulating it to extract the relevant insights needed for supply chain optimization projects.
Communication: Responsible for telling compelling stories involving complex data sets, drawing out the insights to lead to informed decisions.
Present recommendations, initiative progress, and initiative results to cross-departmental leadership and executive level audiences.
STATUS AND SCOPE: Describe the reporting relationships, special skills and abilities required to perform essential job functions.
Reports directly to Director, Supply Chain Network Design.
Will interact with supply chain, finance, field operations and sales leaders.
Excellent cross-functional experience and business know-how of supply chain operations Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills; ability to root-cause problems and quickly articulate creative, practical solutions Analyze various “what-if” supply chain scenarios to prepare a cost/benefit analysis of proposed change Ability to influence at all levels in the organization; ability to drive change, meet deadlines and inspire confidence among senior leadership Experience driving performance improvements and change within a complex, high volume supply chain operation Work cross-functionally to develop recommendations and gain buy-in from all levels of the organization Drive step-change improvements in model performance and functionality Highly effective time management skills: ability to manage competing priorities and ambiguous situations effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work across functions at all organizational levels QUALIFICATIONS: Describe experience, education and related course work typically required or expected to perform essential job functions.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science degrees preferred Experience in leading Supply Chain Projects utilizing software optimization tools.
Strong experience with SQL and other data analysis tools Previous experience in a fast pace, high-volume business organization that promoted a data driven, problem solving climate underpinned by process development and performance metrics and KPIs Strong track record of innovation aptitude, ability to apply supply chain principles, and problem solving Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and data base management.
