About the Role and Program The Walt Disney Company Enterprise Human Resource Project Management Office (Enterprise HR PMO) brings together talented and expert professionals to impact Human Resources practices and decision-making all the way up to the Senior HR leadership.

As part of the Enterprise HR PMO, you’d have exposure to key HR functions, including Workforce Planning, Project Management, Talent Acquisition, Global HR Operations, People Insights, Organizational Development, Compensation and Benefits, Learning and Talent Solutions, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
In this role you will have the opportunity to share skills, knowledge, expertise, and culture across HR groups and take advantage of a variety of enrichment classes.
You will have the ability to gain experience in project planning, analysis, measurement, reporting, process evaluation, data visualization, and compelling storytelling.
You’d join a dynamic team and work with HR leaders at all levels.
The intern will take direction from the Senior Manager, HR PMO, and Director of HR Workforce Planning, and could sit in either Burbank, CA or Orlando, FL.
What You Will Do The Enterprise HR PMO intern will focus on workforce planning analytics support and project management duties for the department.
You will work closely with all members of the team, including Southern California and Florida-based members.
Job responsibilities could include: Working with large data sets and building metrics to be used in analyses that aid in decision-making and tracking of business decisions Supporting our end-to-end headcount management and approval process with documentation, reporting, and insights in support of HR Workforce Planning Supporting the creation of plans, reports, and presentation content Working with a variety of PMO leaders to learn about running an HR department through hands-on experience.
Learning examples include: Visibility to core HR projects across The Walt Disney Company Maintaining project plans and associated documents Coordinating HR PMO meetings and work sessions; recording and summarizing outcomes and action items Managing digital workspaces, files, and materials Required Qualifications & Skills… Outstanding organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and follow through on multiple tasks Strong problem solving and analytical skills Curiosity on data and how It can be used to provide insight to inform resourcing decisions Embraces working and operating in a highly collaborative and communicative environment Demonstrated ability to adjust to change in a positive, productive manner Ability to balance and respond to competing priorities Inquisitiveness and solutions orientation Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and social skills and capability to interact well with diverse personalities Microsoft suite proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Teams, Smartsheet) Preferred Qualifications… Possess knowledge and/or passion for The Walt Disney Company Intermediate Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables and macros) Education Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management, Business, Project Management, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field Eligibility Requirements & Program Information: At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship Must be at least 18 years of age Must possess unrestricted work authorization Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Program The approximate dates of this internship are June 2024 – January 2025.
This internship could be located in either the Burbank, CA OR Orlando, FL areas.
Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.
This internship is a primarily on-site position which will require a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace.
Candidates must be able to provide their own housing and reliable transportation for work in the Burbank, CA or Orlando, FL areas.

The pay rate for this internship in California is $21.
70 per hour.
