Parkwest Bicycle Casino is seeking a highly motivated and personable Recruiter to join our amazing HR team!
The qualified Recruiter will work well under pressure, think outside the box when faced with positions that are hard to fill, and have strong multi-tasking skills.
Ideal candidate for the Human Resources Recruiter position manages and resolves employee-related issues within the organization.
Responsibilities: Collaborates with hiring managers to fully understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies that align with company's objectives and values.
Utilizes various channels such as job boards, social media, professional network, and referrals to post jobs, identify and attract qualified candidates.
Review resumes, conduct initial screenings and assess candidates' suitability for the role.
Schedule and coordinates interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a seamless process and timely communication.
Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey, from initial contacts to post interview feedback.
Contribute to enhancing the company's employer brand by accurately presenting its values, culture, and opportunities to potential candidates.
Conducts interviews, evaluates candidates' skills and cultural fit, and presents qualified candidates to hiring managers for further consideration.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
Build and nurture relationships with potential candidates, industry professionals, and organizations to expand the talent pool and stay updated on market trends.
Stay informed about industry best practices, trends, and compensation benchmark to guide effective recruitment strategies.
Actively seek diverse candidates and promotes an inclusive hiring process that values different backgrounds and perspectives.
Provide regular recruitment metrics and reports to track key performance indicators, evaluate recruitment efforts and suggest improvement.
Must be available to work any given shifts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B.
A.
) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP or similar HR certification a plus.
Three-five years related experience as a Recruiter or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Strong understanding of recruitment principles, techniques and sourcing strategies.
Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (iCIMS a plus) and other recruitment software.
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess candidates' skills, experience and cultural fit or combination of education and experience.
Strong interpersonal skills, enthusiastic, openness, and high standards of professionalism.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Positive and a can-do attitude and a desire to work in a team environment.
Human Resources Management certification a plus.
Must be able to work in office "onsite position" (this is not a remote position).
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge or license.
Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.
S.
Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background and credit check.
Physical and mental requirements Must be able to sit and bend at neck for 6-8 or more hours a day.
Position will require repetitive use of hands for the following actions; simple and grasping, fine manipulation and typing for entire shift.
Occasional requirement to stand whilst completing all listed tasks that are not desk-based.
Occasional requirement to reach forward whilst: Inserting and collecting documents from printer/scanner/mailing/machine Occasional requirement to lift up to 30lbs; this extends to: • Files • Paper reams • File boxes • Office equipment etc.
