We are seeking a Psychiatrist Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or a Psychiatrist to provide supportive medication services for patients.
*Primary Duties*
* Develops and maintains a patient load of size and complexity commensurate with licensure, experience and agency needs.
* Sees patients as necessary regarding medication evaluation, furnishing medications, and other services as needed.
* Attends treatment team meetings as assigned.
* Assist in refilling medications.
* Receives, reviews, and responds as appropriate to calls regarding patient requests.
*Required Qualifications*
* Completion of an approved Master’s level Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program for Nurse Practitioner candidates or Psychiatry Residency Program
* Licensed by the State of California.
* Have possession of a DEA Number.
* Mental Health Nurse Practitioner national certification from American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for Nurse Practitioner candidates or Medical Board of CA for Medical Doctor candidates or Osteopathic Medical Board of CA for Osteopathic Medical Doctor candidates.
