POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Training, the Assistant Director of Training will work with the Director of Training to support the training programs of CSI.
DUTIES: •Work with the Director of Training to include scheduling and logistics of courses and events as well as providing training and education to a wide range of community groups.
•Assist with CSI Site Visits/Vulnerability Assessments of Jewish institutions throughout catchment area and provide security assessment reports.
•Liaise with regional law enforcement and government agencies (SAR Reporting, LE Contacts).
•Assist in the development and periodic update of CSI training plans, programs, and initiatives.
•Assist in the development of CSI safety and security training curricula.
•Ensure appropriate training certifications are completed by all CSI staff and maintain training folders (schedule annual training).
•Stand duty as off hours CSI Duty Analyst as assigned, taking incident reports, conducting investigative endeavors, and draft CSI and One Voice Alerts.
•Conduct data entry into the Incident Intelligence Database (IID) and the CSI Database.
•Assist the team with the community outreach mission.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Be available to assist in additional assignments, as required, including assisting with the Campaign.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR POSITION: •Minimum 3 years law enforcement, corporate, government or related homeland security experience.
Security clearance a plus.
•Dynamic results-oriented individual with highest degree of personal integrity.
•Track record of success in handling people and problems.
•Blend of strategic, tactical, and diplomatic acumen.
•Broad based knowledge of physical security standards, investigative processes, anti-terrorism mitigation measures and emergency management.
•Ability to develop curricula and track training programs.
•Comfortable instructing people of varied levels of experience and from various backgrounds on safety and security industry best practices.
•A hybrid work model will be implemented for certain positions.
This position must report to worksite on non-remote workdays,as determined by the Federation.
•All staff and building occupants must be fully vaccinated and proof of vaccination status will be required.
