We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer to join the Snap Lab team!
What you’ll do:
Engineer component analysis, schematic design, circuit review, layout review, and general debugging
Analyze circuit parasitics and tolerances to ensure correct operation over the specified voltage and temperature range
Review layout for PCB, Flex, and Rigid Flex designs
Work with senior engineers to debug hardware issues, including power quality, high-speed signal integrity, and low speed interface performance
Test and validate electrical designs
Develop electronic prototypes for new product concepts
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong electrical engineering fundamentals
Experience in electronic design, including component selection, schematic design, and familiarity with tools like Cadence Allegro and OrCAD Capture
Knowledge of design for low-noise linear and switching power supply circuits
Familiarity with low power/battery operated designs
Great interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across groups
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent years of experience
1+ years of experience in electrical or hardware engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ year of Experience in Consumer Electronics or Electrical Engineering
Experience developing consumer electronic devices

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position.
The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):
The base salary range for this position is $104,000-$156,000 annually.
Zone B:
The base salary range for this position is $99,000-$148,000 annually.
Zone C:
The base salary range for this position is $88,000-$133,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
