THE THIRD FLOOR is seeking skilled Character Rigging Artists to join our new animation department, to help implement the technical and artistic elements of all character rigs during production.
They will work in the rigging team and the animation team to create flexible character rigs for stylized animation production.
Must have previous experience creating flexible character rigs in animated film or equivalent production.
Full Time.
Remote Position.
Must be in the state of California, Georgia, Texas, Oregon, Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey, New York (Outside NYC), Colorado, Washington, or Canada for remote positions.
Responsibilities:
Build rigs for characters in project pipeline
Work with Character TDs on R&D/developing rigs and rigging tools
Work with animators to develop intuitive rig controls
Essential Skills:
Autodesk Maya
Python

The pay scale is between $30 - $70 / hour based on experience, skillset and other factors.
