KPMG is currently seeking a Director, People Support to join our HR Services and Support organization.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with HR COEs, Risk and OGC in analyzing, developing, and implementing solutions to drive compliance, consistency and operational efficiency in people support processes; develop effective/compliant, efficient and employee-friendly processes through implementation of technology, RPA, offshoring, outsourcing and process improvements Establish and monitor metrics and SLAs to ensure consistent performance of team (on and offshore) and address issues with performance as needed; report to leadership on performance of team Implement practices for ensuring compliance with firm policies, federal and state laws Understand and advise on the interaction of leave laws with ADA, paid time off, workers compensation and short-term and long-term disability benefits Oversee the return-to-work process for employees returning from extended FMLA, workers compensation and/or other leave(s) Lead a team of HR professionals both on and offshore while managing relationships with outsource providers, HR COEs and OGC Qualifications: Minimum ten years of recent progressive HR generalist or operations experience; minimum four years of recent supervisory experience preferred, preferably within a professional services environment Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience preferred; PHR/SPHR certification a plus Experience managing FMLA and state leave of absence and accommodations; comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, employment laws and regulations; knowledge of FMLA, USERRA, state leave laws and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); short-term and long-term disability plans preferred High results oriented with a demonstrated ability to oversee practical, solution-driven initiatives and human resource processes that are perceived as quickly adding value to the business; problem solving and root cause analysis skills Excellent client orientation and the ability to build relationships and credibility; strong written and oral communication, people leadership, facilitation and coaching skills; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Ability to travel as needed KPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.

Any offered salary is determined based on relevant factors such as applicant's skills, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications and market considerations.
