All therapists hired for our organization will be provided with scheduling software, a carter’s care email address, a virtual office and virtual waiting room.

We have the clientele and referrals that provide you the ability to work as many hours as you wish due to our robust contract agreements with insurance providers.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual therapy sessions with patients to assess their mental health needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide group therapy sessions to address specific issues such as gender issues counseling or cognitive behavioral therapy
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities, such as dance therapy or cognitive behavioral therapy, to help patients achieve their treatment goals
- Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to determine the appropriate course of treatment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or social workers, to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Stay current on the latest research and developments in the field of mental health through clinical research and continuing education
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a mental health therapist
- Specialization or experience in areas such as dance therapy, gender issues counseling, or cognitive behavioral therapy is highly desired
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding and documentation requirements for insurance purposes
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to patients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Proficiency in conducting group therapy sessions and facilitating therapeutic discussions
- Knowledge of clinical research methodologies and the ability to apply evidence-based practices in treatment
