ABDEL-MAQSOUD DDS *is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our amazing team in Burbank, CA.

*Position Requirements:*
* Current NYS Dental Hygiene License
* Current CPR/First Aid Certification
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Great team culture
* 5+ years of experience in an office setting preferred
*Responsibilities:*
* Assess patient's oral health status including pre-operative visits, pre-operative instructions, pre-operative treatment plans, and post-operative visit follow-up.
* Provide oral hygiene care including the removal of decidibles and restor healthful chewing habits.
* Perform all necessary dental procedures (e.
g.
, endodontic procedures, periodontal therapy, oral surgery, internal and external medicine) within the scope of state licensing regulations and Medicare regulations.
* Obtain all necessary documentation from the patient (e.
g.
, blood pressure, pulse, height/weight/blood pressure/height/weight) and record it in the appropriate medical record.
* Educate patients and their family members on proper use of dental health products (e.
g.
, sealants, x-rays) and provide advice on oral health topics (e.
g.
, gingivostomatitis, periodontitis, caries, smoking habits, alcohol abuse or dependence).
* Maintain accurate charts/diaries for all patients treated within the office.
* Responsible for charting for physicians/dentists/etc.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $480.
