Our Secure Information Systems (SIS) Department works to protect information and is looking for a temporary Senior Crypto Project Engineer.
With more than 100 NSA certified products, we are broadly engaged across all aspects of information transmission, delivering innovative solutions that span space, ground, airborne, shipboard, government, civil, and commercial customers.
Our engineers design, develop and test products that protect information up to the highest level of national security, focusing on data encryption/decryption and cybersecurity.
This position will be a remote role taking direction from the El Segundo, CA site.
Responsibilities to anticipate:
Synthesize clear high-level crypto requirements, CONOPS, & analytically sound & robust architectures from generally stated objectives
Technically oversee the complete development life cycle from requirements analysis, to detailed hardware & software design, to system integration & test, verification / validation & fielding
Technical leadership to cross-functional teams (including Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Security, and Digital Technology) across a geographically dispersed workforce
Excellent written & oral communications & presentation skills that can be tailored to a broad range of audiences, including customers, senior leadership, & highly technical cross-functional team members
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 14 years of leadership experience and experience developing complex cryptographic solutions for the customer community

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 22 years of relevant experience
Active and transferable U.
S.
government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

citizenship is required, as only U.
S.
citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills especially in relationships building & conflict resolution
Working knowledge of program budgeting process & Earned Value Management Systems
Ability to effectively service multiple tasks with ambiguous or conflicting priorities
Proven track record of sound decision making
Ability to travel as needed
This is a temporary position of undetermined length.
The salary range for this role is $87.
02 – 174.
