Job Description: Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have practical knowledge of project management.
Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Basic Required Qualifiations: 5 years prior relevant experience Experience with the application of the principals of regulatory requirements.
Experience accurately diagnosing general and complex EH&S issues related to corporate operations, determine appropriate or practical controls, and implement practical and effective solutions in a timely manner.
Experience effectively organizing and managing multiple projects and programs in a fast-pace environment and demonstrated effective prioritization and implementation skills.
Must be a US Citizen Qualifications we Prefer: Prior relevant experience in managing environmental compliance programs.
Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to provide clear, concise, and effective verbal communications.
Well-developed written communication and presentation skills.
Ability to plan, organize, delegate, and follow-up on work flow in a team environment to meet departmental goals and objectives.
Proven ability to use email, and Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Project.
Good understanding of database and use of other information gathering systems.
Well-organized and have excellent attention to detail and thoroughness with accomplishing tasks from inception through completion in a multi-tasking environmental Be flexible to accept additional assignments, campaigns and rotations to other EH&S programs including environmental and sustainability Experience in the development and execution of RCCAs Experienced in conducting and developing creative EH&S training.
Ability to handle potentially stressful situations Ability to work with minimal supervision, but will not hesitate to seek additional information from supervisors or peers so tasks can be completed timely and correctly Education required: Typically requires a University Degree in EH&S or related, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
