Job Title: Credentialing Coordinator
Department: Operations - Credentialing
About the Role:
The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of credentialing and re-credentialing of health care professionals.
This position ensures all health care professionals are appropriately credentialed, which includes the responsibility of maintaining current information on file and within the credentialing database.
This position primarily works independently, but frequently coordinates with other internal and external team members.
What You'll Do:
Sending credentialing applications to newly contracted providers and to providers undergoing re-credentialing
Screening Initial and Recredentialing Practitioner and HDO applications
Process initial and reappointment credentialing applications and conduct follow up as needed
Timely review and response for inquiries sent to assigned Credentialing Department mailbox
Maintain provider state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice insurance and any other required credentialing documents
Weekly distribution of status reports to internal departments and the managed groups
Prepare and submit reports weekly, monthly, quarterly and semi-annually to contracted Health Plans
Assist Credentialing Specialist as needed with initial and reappointment credentialing applications and conduct timely follow up as needed
Monitor monthly board findings and all other state sanctions
Input all credentialing data into credentialing software database accurately and timely
Responsible for organizing digital credentialing files and document
Qualifications:
Ability to work with multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills in a fast-pace environment
Basic knowledge of credentialing standards outlined by Joint Commission and/or NCQA
Minimum typing of 45 WPM
High School Diploma
1+ years’ experience with provider credentialing in a managed care, hospital or CVO setting is required

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where the expectation is to work both in office and at home on a weekly basis.
The office is located at 1600 Corporate Center Drive, Monterey Park, CA 91754.
The total compensation target pay rate for this role is between $18.
00 - $25.
00 per hour.
This salary range represents our national target range for this role.
