Dental Receptionist Job Overview
As the Dental Receptionist, you will be the primary liaison between dental staff, patients, and insurance companies.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all dental services are provided to the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
You will also be in charge of scheduling appointments, collecting payments, and maintaining patient records.
Dental Receptionist Qualifications
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance
Ability to operate dental software systems and other office systems

Requirements:
Dental Receptionist Responsibilities and Duties
Act as the primary liaison between the dental practice and patients
Greet patients, answer phones, and schedule appointments
Collect patient data for new and existing patients
Manage patient records, including updating and filing charts
Assist with insurance claims processing
Handle accounts receivable and billing inquiries
Maintain patient confidentiality
Provide general office support
Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and staff
Answer patient questions regarding dental procedures and services
Assist with patient check-in/check-out procedures
Monitor dental supply levels and order supplies as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Education
At least a high school diploma or equivalent
Experience
At least 2 years of experience in a dental office
