LVN for Homeless Shelter (Mondays only 12hr shift)

We are currently hiring for *Mondays *- *12 hour* shift * Location: Near Downtown LA *Summary* * LVN will provide nursing care to clients living in the shelter during their shift * LVN will be responsible for overseeing the administering of medications and treatments, conducting vital sign observations, health assessments, *Essential Functions* * Conduct initial health interview /intake and client health needs assessment * Document based on standing orders and as needed * Check prescribed dosages against specified limits * Reports symptoms, reactions and progress of client to the Medical Director and Clinical Director * Recognizes the need for emergency care; initiates life-saving action in emergencies and alerts the proper emergency medical professionals, including nurse-in-charge or supervisor * Provides patient education * Represent the Agency in a professional manner at meetings and community events Job Type: Part-time Pay: $32.
