The core Advertising team is charged with building a new, best in class Ads organization to establish Netflix as the premiere platform for advertiser partners, and to drive advertising revenue.
We are seeking a selfless, curious, and passionate individual contributor to join our Ads Strategy Planning & Analysis team.
You will have the opportunity to learn and grow quickly in this space, work closely with a highly cross-functional, global team, and contribute to one of the most impactful transitions we’ll have made in a decade.
This role will focus on driving the strategy for our ads business across new initiatives including working with our product team on features and evaluating new ad offerings in our growing business.
Responsibilities Act as a strategic thought partner to our consumer-focused ads product leader and the ad sales commercialization lead.
Develop the strategy for new ads offering including working with our sales and product teams to evaluate and prioritize the potential impact of new initiatives.
Oversee the financial modeling of new opportunities and working with FP&A to ensure that these changes are reflected in our financial forecast.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize plan features and price points for our ads tier.
Ensure the impact of product changes are reflected in our ad inventory and go-to-market strategy with finance and sales.
Preparing clear and concise presentation materials for stakeholders in small and large forum.
Partner with Ads FS&A leaders across regions to customize market-level strategy and consolidate outcomes into a cohesive macro view of the Ads business.
What we’re looking for 9+ years experience in strategy.
Experience with either advertising or product is a major plus.
Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to build new business forecasts based on internal and external data sources.
Comfort with manipulating large datasets in Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, and other data visualization tools.
Familiarity with SQL is a plus.
A strong attention to detail and an eye toward using the 80/20 rule to address problems.
Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics into concise and clear memos and presentations.
Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to deliver work under tight timelines.

Strong people-management skills with experience leading high-performance teams.
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses.
You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options.
To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range.
The range for this role is $220,000 - $610,000.
