The Role Our Manager, Financial Settlements plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of daily, weekly, and monthly settlements and reconciliation processes.
This role will enforce risk and operational controls, managing financial escalations, and securing satisfactory audit results.
What you will do Manage a team that completes daily, weekly, and monthly settlements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established processes.
Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.
Serve as the primary point of contact for venues, playing a pivotal role in managing financial escalations from Client Services and Account Management teams.
Enforce risk and operational controls to maintain the integrity of financial processes and secure satisfactory audit results by ensuring compliance with authorized processes and procedures.
Manages multiple related settlements and transaction details in a daily manner.
Manage cash requirements for settlement disbursement, ensuring timely and accurate processing Review transaction details from issuing and acquiring networks, reconciling each settled transaction.
Perform post-event settlement reconciliation files Review the accuracy of monthly invoices to be submitted to the client Identifies any suspicious accounting.
Assist client services team members with fee validation per ticketing service agreement Review settlement journal entry files and outgoing ACH files Qualifications (ALL) 3-5 Years Financial Operations or a similar role 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or team management role Strong understanding of financial transactions, settlements, and reconciliation processes.
Ability to manage multiple related settlements and transaction details efficiently.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively to resolve issues and improve processes.
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams in a financial or reconciliation setting.
Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members to enhance overall performance.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively oversee multiple tasks within the team.
