The Enterprise Development Manager is an individual contributor role responsible for gaining knowledge of our customer company’s strategic priorities and aligning Xometry’s values to match those needs.
This role is vital in expanding our customer base, our relationships with these companies, increasing revenue, and establishing Xometry as a preferred partner in their vendor system.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Customer Acquisition: Develop and implement a strategic plan to identify and target potential enterprise clients to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Prospecting and Lead Generation: Generate high-quality leads through market research, networking, and leveraging industry contacts to build a strong pipeline of potential customers.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with enterprise clients, understanding their unique needs, and effectively presenting our products and services as solutions.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate their value to enterprise customers and provide solutions tailored to their requirements.
Sales Process Management: Lead the entire sales process, including qualifying leads, conducting product demonstrations, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and graduate enterprise accounts to Sr.
Account Executives.
Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive advantage.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure the successful onboarding and satisfaction of enterprise customers.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports, forecasts, and analyses to track progress, measure results, and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Minimum of 8 years of professional sales experience.
Proven track record in B2B sales, with 3-5 years of experience working with enterprise customers.
Strong knowledge of the Manufacturing sector and its key players.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales-related tools.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
