LAZ provides parking enforcement services to the city and provides traffic control events for events at SoFi Stadium, The Forum, Intuit Dome, and other locations in Inglewood.
This position will report to the Operations Manager.
The ideal candidate should expect to have a flexible schedule.
In general, the Facilities Manager works during normal business hours.
However, the expectation is that the Facilities Manager can be flexible in schedule to meet operational needs.
This will require occasionally working on the weekend and/or evenings.
Principal Job Duties:
•Serve as the primary liaison between the supervisor staff and Operations Manager.
•Responsible for all enforcement technology related items, including License Plate Readers, enforcement equipment, and vehicle telematics.
•Work closely with the Parking Analyst to analyze data to identify opportunities for improvements to staff productivity and overall operation effectiveness.
•Assist the Operations Manager in HR matters (i.
e.
investigations, progressive disciplinary actions, and coaching.
)
•Support the Operations Manager in recruiting and interviewing new employees.
•Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from the operation.
•Support the traffic control operations team during major special events at SoFi Stadium, The Forum, Intuit Dome, and other locations in Inglewood.
•Other duties as needed by the manager.
•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
•At least 2 years of experience working in employee relations in supervisor/manager role for a large team (10 or more employees).
•Highly proficient in Office365 suite applications (i.
e.
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
•Able to learn and become proficient in other software applications.
•Experience in overseeing technology and implementing initiatives that streamline existing processes using technology.
Experience:
•Preferred, but not required:
Familiarity with City of Inglewood area.
Experience in parking operations.
Skills:

Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
