YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO OUR SUCCESS!: The HHF Security Guard Force Manager is responsible for ensuring overall management of the in-house and contract guard force.
The main purpose is to protect HHF’s premises, hotels, assets, personnel and tenants.
The Security Guard Force Manager will be an experienced leader that reports to the Healthy Housing Operations Management, with a dotted line report to the AIDS Healthcare Foundation Global Security Department.
This person will focus on ensuring the highest level of performance of the security operations through the disciplined execution of policy and procedures.
The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Manages an in-house force of over 25 in-house and augmenting contract security guards to ensure the protection of AHF property, staff, tenants and guests in order to maintain a safe and secure environment in high crime areas of the metropolitan Los Angeles area.
Works to improve operations by identifying areas where efficiency can be improved.
Acts as the liaison with the local law enforcement team with regards to violation of law on an HHF property.
Ensures the quality and accuracy of all reports submitted by the in-house and contract guard force.
Create schedules of work to ensure proper security guard coverage at assigned facilities.
Conducts regular training on policies and procedures to ensure disciplined compliance by the in-house and contract security guard force.
Manages the operation of the Command Center to improve the safety and security of AHF/ HHF facilities and personnel.
A minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience managing a guard force operating at multiple residential facilities in a high crime area.
BS/BA college level education with an emphasis in criminal justice or psychology considered a plus.
Extensive de-escalation training.
Documented certification as a de-escalation trainer is considered a plus.
Experience working with local law enforcement in a high crime urban area.
Minimum 5 years’ experience leading a force of more than 20 guards, including the creation and maintenance of guard force work schedules.
Experience operating the Honeywell ProWatch CCTV system a plus.
