9615 hourly Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm * Rotating Saturday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Tuesday and/or Thursday 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm Benefits and Perks: Supportive, fun and friendly team environment! *** Clients/Families we serve reside in the South Los Angeles, Compton, Watts and Lynwood area.
SHIELDS’ mission is to develop, deliver and evaluate culturally sensitive, comprehensive service models that empower and advocate for high-risk families in South Los Angeles.
SHIELDS ARK Program serves adults with substance use disorders.
Participants are part of the general community, General Relief (GR), AB 109 re-entry, or Drug Court programs.
Additionally, the ARK program serves adults with an open DCFS case and adults on probation or parole.
The Ark is certified by the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs (ADP) and is licensed to operate in Lynwood.

Certification Expiration Date 03/31/2023.
Certified by CA Department of Health Care Services.
The Lead SUD Counselor provides linkage, resources, and referrals to other community based service.
This includes providing individual, family, and group counseling.
The Lead SUD Counselor is responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of existing local private and public community programs, the services they provide, their eligibility requirements and oversees the day to day functioning of the program/counselors.
