Fancy Pigeon Spotted (Glendale)

A white tufted fancy Pigeon flew into my balcony at 7 pm on April 29th.
It clung to the wall for a while, I tried to lure it to the ground with some food but it flew over to a tree and then after about 10 min flew away- it definitely seems to be someone's pet or at least a racing bird maybe.
Tufted head, white body and wings with a black tail.
If this bird belongs to someone, let me know so that if she/he comes back I can try to trap it.
Just to be clear, the bird is gone now, not in my possession.
