Reef Sandals at El Egundo Beach (Winston-Salem)

To whoever stole my used sandals from el segundo beach: That was 1 of 2 pairs of shoes that I packed to come with me to California where I am staying for an indefinite amount of time while I oversee my father's care during his hospital stay in the ICU.
He was mostly sleeping today so I had the chance to leave the hospital early and treat myself to a walk down the beach.
I truly do not know what would compel you to take used sandals that have a smudge of black tar staining the arch.
I suppose you must have needed them, so I will walk home barefoot and try to decide if it's worth it to buy another pair of sandals while I am budgeting my money to cover my needs during my time away from work.
