We are seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative individual to join our Legal Assistant team.
As a Legal Assistant, you will perform administrative duties supporting the broader Global Affairs Team as well as junior paralegal tasks supporting the Legal Team.
You will report to the Senior Manager of Legal Operations and the role may be based at our offices in either Los Angeles, California or Seattle, Washington.
You are a collaborative team player who has a passion for helping others and is not afraid to experiment with new technologies.
Role Responsibilities
Increase the office effectiveness and promote an inclusive and welcoming environment, by the following:
Support the Global Affairs team with administrative tasks including managing schedules, making travel arrangements, and filing expense reports.
Organize local office events, department summits, and facilitating team building activities.
Onboard new vendors and managing invoices.
Utilize our eBilling system (Legal Tracker) for paying invoices, accruals, and generating financial reports.
Collaborate with different teams from Global Affairs on special projects related to intellectual property and marketing, compliance, and stock administration.
General Qualifications
2+ years of experience as an administrative assistant (preferably in a law firm or in a corporate legal department), legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Always maintains a professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work autonomously, manage large workloads, and keep commitments.
High-level proficiency in MS Office and Google suite skills.
Experience with Legal Tracker, LumApps and Chrome River is a plus.
US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The hourly pay ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states.
If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the hourly pay range for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

The hourly rate is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
