*Direct Counsel* is seeking an attorney to join a top firm in its growing national management-side Employment, Labor & Workforce Management practice located in Los Angeles, CA.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging and impactful wage and hour litigation matters.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Handle all aspects of wage and hour litigation, including defending complex wage-and-hour litigation matters.
* Conduct interviews with witnesses, review electronically stored documents, and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
* Prepare oppositions to class certification motions and defend depositions.
* Interact with clients and opposing counsel, and attend certain court appearances.
*Requirements:*
* Minimum of three years of relevant wage and hour litigation experience.
* Knowledge of employment law, specifically wage-and-hour law.
* Experience defending complex wage-and-hour litigation matters is required.
* Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
* Admission to practice law in California is mandatory.
* Strong academic credentials and excellent communication and writing skills.
* Ability to handle all aspects of litigation independently.
*Salary and Benefits:*
The expected salary range for this position is $205,000 - $290,000.
Salary offers are based on various factors including skills, training, experience, education, licensure or certification, and market conditions.
Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
