Responsibilities
Mark R.
Weiner & Associates, insurance staff counsel for State Farm Insurance companies, is seeking a Legal Administrative Support team member to join the Glendale, CA office.
We are seeking individuals that are comfortable in a high volume, team-oriented work environment where it is critical to stay organized and prioritize work as it is assigned.
This position will be part of an existing administration team with a heavy emphasis on reception duties, receiving and transferring incoming calls, processing invoices, medical record collection, new suit intake and set-up and scanning and routing incoming mail.
Hours for this position are Monday-Friday within core business hours.
This position requires being in office Monday-Friday and is not eligible for hybrid or remote.
Work arrangements could change over time based on business needs.
Located in Glendale, CA, we enjoy an active, busy civil trial practice.
We provide a congenial, team-oriented professional work environment with skilled support staff.
Qualifications
Knowledge and familiarity of the legal process, as well as legal and medical terminology preferred, but not required
Medical stipulations/authorizations, medical record collection, and deposition scheduling experience preferred, but not required
Accurate and efficient in an electronic environment, including experience in Microsoft Office and Adobe
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate effectively with peers and both internal and external customers
Strong customer service skills both in person and over the phone
Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
Experience with scanning documents, PDF, and records management
Salary Range: $42,667.
63- $63,250
Potential yearly incentive pay up to 6% of base salary
