watch is currently seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking contract administrator/paralegal to be a key member of the pocket.
watch Legal Department.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience as a paralegal, including responsibility for a legal contract management system, a strong attention to detail, great organization and communication skills.
This is an excellent opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a trailblazing entertainment company and work with top industry executives.
Responsibilities:
Manage contracts and milestone notifications associated with pocket.
watch’s contract management system.
Collect, analyze, track, summarize, and generate reports for contracts on a daily basis in a timely and accurate manner across all aspects of the company’s business.
Handle overflow for contract drafting and content clearance.
Ensure all music cue sheets are filed accurately and that music performing rights organizations pay pocket.
watch composers correctly and in a timely manner.
Work with the VP, Legal Affairs and General Counsel in managing pocket.
watch’s corporate policies and insurance portfolio.
Propose innovative solutions to streamline operations and to scale with business needs.
Other duties and special projects as assigned by the VP, Legal Affairs or General Counsel.
Qualifications:
Knowledge and Experience
Minimum of 2+ years in a law firm or as an in-house contract administrator, paralegal, or office administrator.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides) is required.
Experience working in the entertainment industry, technology industry, in a start-up or other fast-paced environment is preferred.
Experience with DocuSign, Dropbox, and contract management databases is preferred.
Familiarity with intellectual property law (copyright and trademark), talent agreements, production releases, consumer products, ad sales, COPPA/privacy, and CARU are a plus.

Work Environment
The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
Work is performed in a hybrid capacity, both on-site in a business office and remotely.
Physical Demands
Must have close visual acuity to perform the primary responsibilities of this position.
Work is sedentary in nature and involves sitting most of the time.
Must have good physical dexterity and the ability to constantly operate a computer, mouse, etc.
