We are a boutique law firm in Beverly Hills focusing primarily in CEQA, Land-Use, and Brown Act issues on behalf of community members.
We also handle some real property disputes and criminal matters.
We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to work on-site.
This position is currently part-time (20-30 hrs/week) with a possibility of becoming full-time.
The starting pay is $26.
00/hr.
; pay is commensurate with experience.
We would like the selected candidate to start as early as March 11, and no later than March 18, 2024.

*Qualifications*
_Required:_
Minimum 3 years of experience as a California-certified paralegal
Knowledge of litigation calendaring
Strong writing skills
Proficiency in data entry
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in the following computer applications:
* Microsoft Word
* Microsoft Excel
* Adobe Acrobat
* DropBox
Knowledge of legal research databases - Lexis Nexis preferred
Knowledgeable in use of basic office equipment - printers, scanners, and copiers
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment
Professional demeanor
Fluent in English

Experience with CEQA and Brown Act filing requirements
Proficiency in the the following computer applications:
* Google Docs
* Google Sheets

Familiarity with client management systems
Knowledgeable in California Superior Court and Court of Appeal e-filing, filing, and service procedures
Knowledgeable in City of Los Angeles meetings, comment submissions, and appeal procedures
*Responsibilities*

Perform legal research including statutory and case law
Analyze and draft correspondence and legal documents including routine pleadings and motions, discovery requests and interrogatories, and petitions
File and e-file legal documents according to judicial procedures
Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, and other documents
Assist attorneys with trial preparation and court appearances
Analysis and review of administrative records for trial briefing
