*Direct Counsel* is seeking a highly skilled and experienced *Senior Insurance Coverage Attorney* to join an excellent firm in *Beverly Hills, California*.
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate directly with the founding partner to expand and establish an insurance bad faith practice within the firm.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Work closely with the founding partner to develop and implement strategies for expanding the insurance bad faith practice.
* Handle complex insurance coverage matters, including policy interpretation, disputes, and bad faith claims.
* Conduct legal research, analysis, and provide sound legal advice to clients.
* Draft and negotiate insurance-related documents, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
* Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings as necessary.
* Maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and delivering favorable outcomes.
* Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
*Qualifications:*
* Juris Doctor (J.
D.
) degree from an accredited law school.
* Active state bar membership and in good standing.
* Minimum of 15 years of experience as an insurance coverage attorney.
* Proven expertise in insurance coverage, bad faith claims, and related litigation.
* Excellent research, analytical, and negotiation skills.
* Strong oral and written communication abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Client-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional legal services.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Experience working in a reputable law firm or corporate legal department.
* Demonstrated success in expanding or establishing new practice areas.
* Strong network of potential clients or referral sources.
