Law Firm Office Manager

The Tenants Law Firm is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization fighting for the rights of tenants and their children in California.
Our mission is to bring slumlords to justice through passionately advocating for and educating our communities, combating and preventing homelessness in the process.
We are currently looking for a Office Manager.
This position is ideal for anyone with experience as an office manager in a fast paced office who wants to gain hands-on experience.
The position requires a commitment of at least one year with room to grow within the firm.

Ability to assume responsibility quickly and work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to use good judgment, multitask, and meet deadlines.
Ability to interact with a wide range of clients in a kind, appropriate manner: * Helping attorney prepare cases for trial * Communicating with clients and other parties to provide updates and collect information * Drafting and editing demand letters to serve landlords * Managing client rosters and Firm organization * Scheduling meetings for the Lead Attorney * Court calendaring * Developing connections with other Non-profit organizations * Directing the firm's intern/law clerk programs Ideal Candidate: * A quick learner capable of leading large teams.

Job Type: Full-time (35-40 hours), 1 Year Commitment.
In-office in Los Angeles preferred It would be a plus if you are: Spanish Speaking, familiar with Google Suite, Lexis Nexis, and Squarespace Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.
