Litigation Attorney

Highly respected Boutique law firm looking for an experienced *Litigator, 6-15 years’ experience* required.
Managerial position responsible for implementing the leadership and development of our firms litigation team, reporting directly to the Partner.
This legal executive will keep up-to-date with changes and developments in the law, our field, and our practice with the savvy for development and training throughout their career.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational, administrative and time management skills with ease in working under pressure.
Must be comfortable with court appearances.
In high volume contact with clients and opposing counsel, we respect your skill to mediate and gain the trust of others.
Must anticipate team needs and provide proper work direction with staff members.
Must be competent in interpersonal communications.
The job duties of a litigation attorney will include but are not limited to filing lawsuits, conducting and responding to written discovery, drafting and opposing motions, taking and defending deposition as well as preparing and conducting trial.

*Requirements of a Litigation Attorney* * Must be admitted to practice law in the state of California * Experience drafting pleadings, discovery and motions, making court appearances, and taking / defending depositions.
* Must possess excellent legal research and writing skills, a strong ability to think strategically / analytically, and outstanding communication skills.
