Computer / Information Technology (IT) professional with multiple decades of experience, looking for an IT Management position.
Ideally, a smaller and privately-held or start-up organization that needs help getting their IT infrastructure and services established and/or fixed.
I have experience it tons of different technologies, including but not limited to:
* Desktop/Laptop hardware.
* Desktop/Laptop Windows OS.
* Mobile/Tablet systems (Android, iOS/iPhone/iPad, etc.
)
* Windows servers, Active Directory, SQL, etc.
.
* Linux servers.
* Various cloud-services (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, Azure, etc.
)
* Supervised various other technology personnel.
So, I am very much a technology "generalist".
I do not "specialize" in anything.
I have experience in several different industries at various times, including but not limited to:
* "Dot-com" / startups.
* Telecommunications/Internet.
* Financial.
* Health Care.
* Retail/wholesale.
* Local government.
Would love to contribute in some industries I haven't yet, or only touched-on briefly.
These might include:
* A non-profit.
* Toy business.
* Video-game business.
* Fashion-related business.
* Possibly another jaunt into mental-health or general health-care.
* A legitimate cannabis-related business.
I am looking for a full-time permanent position, not another contract/consulting gig, preferably with some mix of on-site and remote.
Available to travel locally by car only - nothing that involves getting onto an airplane.
I am very negotiable on salary, particularly if there is some ability to get in on the ground floor of a new organization.
I will NOT respond to blind requests, tell me who you are, what organization you are hiring for, and describe position or need you have in mind - in the first message.
All other responses will be ignored and deleted.
This includes messages such as "hey, call me at this number [.
