Free Metal welding (East Los Angeles)

What's the catch you ask? I bought a welder and I am just trying to get better at using it.
I'm not a professional, but I would like to practice on something meaningful that will be useful to someone.
The risk is I screw up because I'm still learning or I succeed and you get a welded up part for free.
